I love the results of taking pictures. The process is never fun! The girls did great. It was super warm today...

HALLOWEEN!!

What a fun year! We got to go around with cousins this year! It was actually a fantastic night that wasn't too cold for anyone. The kids, of course, got a ton of candy. My favorite is what comes after the trick or treating... The Trading!! I love to see them organize their favorites and count it up and trade away for the most sot after. Overall... a very good year.

Motorcycle Mania

My dad and brother left for a little motorcycling today. It is getting harder and harder to say goodbye. They were excited and you could feel it! I hope they have a blast!!
Aren't they super CUTE!! Look at my dad with his hands in his pockets. It was cold. And my brother with his smiling face and arm right around my dad. I love them!!

Vents

So we had to get vents for the house. This is the guy at the vent store!! I just think he is great. He is always smiling and I love his glasses! I asked him if I could take his picture and he obliged!

Carpet

So... it seems as though we have found a house. However it is requiring some work and it is stressing me out! So, I am blogging about it. We have been working on it for over 3 weeks... close to maybe 4. Even though you are getting in on the action a little late in the game, you are still getting in. I will try and make this as interesting as possible.
first... the carpet.
Let me say that I LOVE the carpet guy. He says hell a lot and I think it is hysterical. Let me give you a few examples...
"That is a hell of a buy", (that was the first time I heard him say it!) "Well, hell, if you buy that one you will just be wasting your money", "Hell, I don't even know I say it!".
I will try and take a picture of him tomorrow.
So, back to the carpet. We are getting this super thick carpet for our bedroom and closet. (we can't afford it anywhere else!) Anyway, here is the marketing and also a picture of it! I wish you could feel it. It is super thick and fluffy!I guess I formatted those extra small... sorry about that... hope you can see them!
Well... I will try and get something up tomorrow too! Happy night.

The State Fair

This is a favorite! The kids even made the news!

Petting the pigs... I got asked a hundred times if we could have a pig. Peep told me that when she gets big she is going to have a pig that lives in the house and is clean.... good luck with that. I have children that aren't that successful!

If you can imagine this... Friday asked me if these were their breasts! There hasn't been many other times in my life when I felt more like a cow. I corrected him and said...."no, they are utters!!!" in a totally offended voice! :)

Graduation!!!

TRACK!!

She has been waiting for this moment for a very long time!!! 2 years in fact and she did it!!! Peep has run her first track meet. She is incredible! She did such a good job. Here are some pictures of the events. She ran the 100m, the relay medley and finally the 800. For those of you that don't know the 800m is super hard. 2 laps around the track. On the second lap I thought for sure she was going to be far too tired to make it, but she whipped around there and at the last turn... those last 100 m she gave it her ALL! I saw determination something fierce!! I loved it. So much that I followed her down the whole way yelling... GO PEEP!!! GO PEEP!!!

FRIDAY'S HAIR!!!!

SHLONG!!! what a contrast! He has a little deal going with one of his leaders at church. Cut the hair off and get a 5 lb. hersheys bar.... That would make quite a smore! :)
What a cutie! It was hard for him. It has been about 4 years or so since it has been this short! He will miss the "flip".
