P's New Shoes

We went on a date and P ended up getting these in about 5 min. He is so happy about his purchase. Usually he spends about 1 hour walking in them, running, jumping... you get the idea... but they were closing and I said "get the shoes and lets go!" So, tonight as I am spending much time blogging... that's what new bloggers do right?... he said, take a picture of my shoes for your blog.
Now don't they look great!

Trip to Louisville, Kentucky

Hotel: $100

Wyandotte Cave: $36

Slugger Museum: $25

A little over-nighter with me and all my kids: Priceless!!

No pictures from Wyandotte Caves... you will have to check it out on line. I took a few pictures and went to look at them and my camera promptly told me that I didn't have any flash card!! I was so mad. It was just beautiful. Rolling hills and tons and tons of trees. They were all turning! It was great and I have no picture of it. So, I trucked all 5 of them to the back of a Walmart and picked up a new flash card. you can't do a little trip with your kids and not have the pictures to prove it!

Why do kids just love hotel rooms!

Of course the best part about a hotel is the swimming pool.

The next day the rain was just coming down!! Just the small walk into the museum was enough to get us pretty wet!

At the end of the tour they give each person a little slugger bat.

That is all I need is 5 kids, 4 bats, and a car ride home!

This is a picture taken by peep. There are actually 5 just like this. She can't just take one... there has to be plenty, but they LOVED the bridges.

Over all it was a great time. I need to do it more often. I look forward to the day when we aren't going to CiCi's pizza for dinner, but a place a little nicer and a bit healthier... is there such a place?

dinner at sam's club

wow! first of all you can imagine we were a bit desperate to have gone to Sam's club for pizza! Into our scrumptious dinner P looked at me and said... "how many people have counted our kids?" I said back... " I don't know I never make eye contact or try to notice when I am out with all of them!"
So, I had a chat with Carolyn and we both agree... you have to ignore those around you when you are out with them all.
That's it for now!

Sunday walk

We went to a great little place for a walk. The kids enjoyed it. Look at the very end of the path. There are trees covering for 200 yards or so.
We fed the fish here. I kept a good eye on the kids. I wasn't about to jump in after them!!! Here is little nut. She has a blue sucker in her mouth and she is happy about that!

party for scooter

Here are some of the crew. We had 14 kids that day. Then add a few neighbors and my own kids are you get 21! Amazing. I guess little nut was asleep most of the time, so you can call it good with 20. P didn't get home from work until well into the party so I had a friend come and help me out. I can't believe I didn't get a picture of her and me together!

This is the blowing out ot the candles. You can't really tell, but the cake is orange and has orange frosting. He has his vampire teeth in to boot. I think there was a bit of "spraying" on the cake. No one minded too much!
